What services do you provide?

 

We offer a comprehensive range of bookkeeping and related services to small businesses. Services include:

Accounting systems setup: to ensure your accounts and systems are set up properly

 

Ongoing bookkeeping services: a regular (weekly,

fortnightly, monthly or quarterly) service to keep your books up to date

 

Accounts checkup: a checking service to back up businesses where you do the bulk of your bookkeeping in-house

 

Management Reports, BAS & IAS Preparation: a regular monthly or quarterly service where we prepare management reports, Activity statements, Group Certificates and Workers Compensation forms, remotely from our office in Parramatta.

 

DIY training: Hands-on training and support to help you or your staff keep the books in-house

 

Debt followup: to help you follow up on late payments and ensure your cashflow stays current

 

What if I only want a few services?

 

No problem. We're able to work out a program that suits your needs, or tailor a specific service for you.

What are your fees?

 

All of our services are provided on a “fixed fee” basis, which makes budgeting easier for you, or an hourly rate (4 hour minimum).

Our prices range from $400 - $500 + GST, per service. For example, a weekly bookkeeping service would normally attract a fee of $200.00 + GST per week, or a monthly service would be $200 to $400.00 + GST per month. A quarterly service is $300.00 + GST per quarter.

Comprehensive MYOB training is $350.00 + GST and includes a customized manual and telephone support.

One-off services such as bringing an account up to date are charged at $60.00 per hour and continuing services are charged at $50.00 per hour.

We also offer all new clients an obligation free 30-day trial of our services. If you're unhappy with any aspect of our service you can simply let us know any time within 30 days and you won't be charged.

How do I know which service is best for me?

 

I don't know your current bookkeeping and financial situation. I am not sure if I am the right person for you. To find out, I'll need to ask you a few questions. That's why I offer a free consultation. During the consultation I'll simply ask you a few questions to get an understanding of you bookkeeping needs to see if there is some way I can help you manage your bookkeeping better.

 

Once I contact you, how does it work?

 

That will depend on the services that you require.

If I am doing the work for you, you can either choose our free pickup and delivery service or we can do the work at your premises. Your job will be to gather the information and invoices etc. that we need.

What will you need me to do?

 

Keep all your financial records together as you're currently doing. If you are starting up, I'll show you an easy way to do this.

 

You also might like to think about which key financial indicators are a must for your business to do well or we can work this out together. If you choose we can review these each time we prepare the books for you, so you'll know in an instant the financial health of your business.

 

What if I want to do some of the work myself?

 

No problem. You can do as much or as little as you like. We're able to help with setup and training only, or we can provide ongoing monitoring and ongoing bookkeeping services as well as taking care of your ATO obligations along the full financial year, until it is time to email your accountant the required files for tax return preparation and advice.

What if I don't have an accounting system?

 

We can set one up for you.

What if I decide after a few weeks this isn't right for me?

 

No problem. We offer an unconditional 30-day money back guarantee. You're welcome to try our service for one whole month and if you decide we're not what you're after you can simply give the word and you won't be billed.

What's your background?

 

SydneyBookkeeper Pty Ltd is owned and operated by Ramiro Lemos. While working for other accountants, Ramiro found that he was often correcting the mistakes that other bookkeepers had made.
